Sam Okamoto is a 30 year food industry veteran who worked as a restaurateur, columnist, author, cooking instructor and nutrition expert. Simplicity is key in his cooking. Despite classic French training he focuses mainly in healthy cuisine; and of course sushi, the art of which he learned from his father, a well known sushi chef in Kokura, Kyushu Japan.

Our Tapas feature fresh and innovative meat, seafood, vegetable and Noodle dishes served in small plate fashion. Our sushi selections are unique, fresh and skillfully prepared.
We offer a robust selection of sake, shochu, shochu infused cocktails, Japanese and micro brewed beer, and varietal wines to be paired with your meal, or sampled by themselves. Our well trained staff is more then happy to guide you.
The Sushi bar, the Sake bar and the dining area tables were all hand crafted by a local artisian with local lumber. The look is comfortable, the feel is relaxed and casual. The food is great.
